Snow biking combines the speed and agility of a dirt bike with the terrain capabilities of a snowmobile. Popularity for the sport continues to grow. Learn more about the sport of snow biking and how the Timbersled® system works.
What is a Timbersled® system?
Timbersled® is a snow bike conversion system that allows you to convert your dirt bike to a snow bike. A ski replaces the front wheel and a track replaces the back wheel of your dirt bike. The snow bike can then be converted back into a dirt bike. As a leader in snow bikes, all Timbersled® products are designed, tested, and built by hand in Sandpoint, Idaho. We continue our innovative tradition to drive the sport of snow biking through kits and accessories so that you can ride anywhere you can imagine with ease and confidence.
Who can ride a Timbersled®?
No previous dirt biking skills are necessary! Timbersled® is built to fit your riding style whether you're an advanced rider or a beginner. Ride with ease and confidence from the moment you hit the powder. We have created an easy way for everyone in the family to access the snowy backcountry. It's easy to learn and the freedom you feel is incredible.
When did Timbersled® join the Polaris® family?
In April 2015, Polaris® Industries - a leader in powersports - announced the acquisition of Timbersled® to create an exciting platform for continued innovation and acceleration growth.
