Returning a Purchase

You have 30 days to return most online purchases that were shipped to your home or shipped to a dealer for pickup. Exceptions may apply; please see the full return policy below. 

Eligible return dates will be extended for the 2021 holiday season. Online purchases placed on or after November 1, 2021, can be returned through January 31, 2021. 

RETURN POLICY
Returns must be received in new and unused condition, free of any cosmetic damage. This includes, but is not limited to, scratches, scuffs, stretching, dents, dirt, pet hair, or any sign the product has been mounted to a vehicle. Returns must be opened within 30 days of their original delivery date. 

Shipping fees are non-refundable. Unless the product is defective, incorrect or has been damaged in transit, you will be responsible for the costs of returning the product. Damage caused to a product once it is in your possession does not make it defective. Refunds will be issued back to the original method of payment.

Oil, fluids and Service Manuals cannot be returned. Final sale merchandise is not eligible for return. 

SHIP TO HOME ONLINE PURCHASES
Customers are responsible for all return shipping charges unless authorized by Polaris. Use a carrier that incorporates tracking and insurance services. All shipments must be prepaid. We do not accept C.O.D. or any similar process. Packages shipped C.O.D. will be rejected upon delivery attempt and returned to the customer.

There are two ways to open a return for a Ship to Home purchase. You can open a return in your account online or by calling Polaris Customer Service. The number is 1-800-303-9002 if you are located in the U.S. and 1-800-304-6067 if you are located in Canada.

Option 1: Open a Return in Your Online Polaris Account

1. Log in to your Polaris account to view your orders.

2. Select ONLINE ORDERS. 

3. Find the order that contains the item(s) to be returned. You’ll be taken to a summary of your order.  

4. Select RETURN ITEMS in the upper-right corner of the Order Details page. 

5. Select the eligible return items and tell us why you are returning them. Select SUBMIT RETURN in the lower left corner to initiate your return. You will receive an email that includes your return number, return address and complete return instructions. 

6. Place your item(s) in the original packaging, then place inside of an outer shipping parcel or container. Be sure to pack the item(s) properly so your return won't be damaged. To ensure faster processing of your return, please write the return number on the outside of the package.

Note: All returns are processed at this location. 

6. Ship your return to Polaris via the carrier of your choice and be sure to keep the tracking number. 

7. Once we receive your return, it will be processed within 2 business days. Please note that it can take up to 10 days for the bank to deposit your refund. 

Option 2: Open a Return with Polaris Customer Service

1. To open a return, contact Polaris at 1-800-303-9002 or use the Contact Us email option at the bottom of the page.  

2. After the return is initiated, you will receive an email that includes your return number, return address and complete return instructions.  

3. Place your item(s) in the original packaging, then place them inside of an outer shipping parcel or container. Be sure to pack the item(s) properly so your return won't be damaged.

4. Ship your return to Polaris via the carrier of your choice and be sure to keep the tracking number. 

5. Once we receive your return, it will be processed within 2 business days. Please note that it can take up to 10 days for the bank to deposit your refund. 

SHIP TO DEALER ONLINE PURCHASES
All purchases placed using the Ship to Dealer fulfillment method are eligible for free returns. Orders can be returned to your local dealer or mailed back to our Vermillion Return Center.

Return In-Person to Dealership
To return your order to a dealer, follow these steps: 

1. Bring your intact item(s) or package to the dealership where the order was delivered. 

2. Provide the dealer with your order number and reason for return. The dealer will open a return on your behalf and provide you with a return number. The return will be shipped to the warehouse by the dealer.

3. Your refund will be processed once the item(s) are returned to the warehouse.

You can open a return in your online Polaris account or by calling Polaris Customer Service at 1-800-303-9002

Return by Mail Option 1: Open a Return in Your Online Polaris Account

1. Log in to your Polaris account to view your orders. 

2. Find the order that contains the item(s) to be returned. You’ll be taken a summary of your order.

4. Select the eligible return item(s) and tell us why you are returning them. Select SUBMIT RETURN in the lower-left corner to initiate your return. You will receive an email that includes your return number, return address and complete return instructions. 

5. Call Customer Service 1-800-303-9002 to receive your free pre-paid shipping label. Provide your order number and let them know you placed a return online for a Ship to Dealer order. 

6. Place your item(s) in the original packaging, then place inside of an outer shipping parcel or container. Be sure to pack the item(s) properly so your return won't be damaged.

7. Once we receive your return, it will be processed within 2 business days. Please note, it can take up to 10 days for your bank to deposit your refund. 

Return by Mail Option 2: Open a Return with Polaris Customer Service

1. Call 1-800-303-9002 or use the Contact Us email option at the bottom of the page.

2. After the return is initiated, you will receive an email that includes your return number, return address and complete return instructions.  

3. Place your item(s) in the original packaging, and then place inside of a larger, outer shipping container. Be sure to pack it properly so your item won't get damaged. To ensure faster processing of your return, please write the return number on the outside of the package.

4. Place the pre-paid shipping label on the box and return to UPS. 

5. Once we receive your return, it will be processed within 2 business days. Please note, it can take up to 10 days for your bank to deposit your refund. 

PACKAGING YOUR RETURN
Returned products must be enclosed in their original packaging with the original packing slip and RMA number. This includes all boxes, plastic containers, plastic bags and equivalent protecting packaging, and all tags, information booklets, instructions, stickers, etc.

Products deemed to be faulty or incomplete due to customer error will be returned to you, and a refund will not be granted.

Do not use the product's original packaging as a shipping container (for example, helmets, winches, etc.). To avoid damage and ensure you are refunded, it's recommended that you pack item(s) in the original packaging and then place them inside of a larger, separate shipping container.

Original packaging that has been torn open or damaged is considered no longer in new condition and cannot be accepted.

Have your order number and packaging slip ready, along with the item number(s) you want to return. Our customer service team will open a return and provide you with a return number. You can call to open a return for items shipped to your home address and items shipped to a dealer.
