Dear Polaris Customer,
We regret to inform you that 509® has issued a recall on Small and Medium size only 509® Tactical 2.0 helmets, 509® Tactical 2.0 helmets with Fidlock, and 509® for Polaris Tactical 2.0 helmets. Our records indicate that you own an affected Tactical 2.0 helmet. Please stop using the Tactical 2.0 helmet immediately.
509® has determined that Small and Medium size only 509® Tactical 2.0 helmets, 509® Tactical 2.0 helmets with Fidlock, and 509® for Polaris Tactical 2.0 helmets, which were manufactured in 2023, may not provide adequate impact protection in the event of a crash, posing an increased risk of head injury. Our records show you have purchased an affected product. Polaris has informed the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) about the issue.
Owner Next Steps:
- Please stop using the Tactical 2.0 helmet immediately.
- Verify your helmet is affected. If affected, cut off both chin straps and take required photos as instructed in the Affected Helmet Identification & Recall Procedure.

- Contact our Polaris Owner Connections Department at 1-800-765-2747 to speak with a representative for further instructions on a refund or credit.
- If you no longer own this product, please contact Polaris and forward a copy of this notice to the current owner of the product, if known.
