Fox Float Evol Shocks
This is the lightest weight shock package that we offer for the Mtn. Tamer suspension.
It uses a Float-2 front shock and a Float Evol rear shock.
This makes for the best all around shock because you can simply add air to make it have a stiffer or softer preload.
The Fox air shock will attract the least amount of snow and ice with no spring for it to stick onto making the running weight of the skid even lighter.
These shocks also offer some new internal technology used on dirt bikes but has never been used on a snowmobile suspension. They include an internal bleed shim that alows a small amount of oil to free flow through the valve shim stack at slow speeds to make the suspension more sensitive. The rear shock has an added air volume Evol chamber that is adjustable with air. With this you can change the progressive rate of the suspension without affecting your pre load. The suspension kit will come with instructions to explain how to make these adjustments.
