Mtn. Tamer Back Suspensions Kits

Timbersled’s Mtn. Tamer Back Suspension System is a kit that bolts on to your stock slide rails and will bolt back into the stock bolt holes in the tunnel. The kit provides you with a substantial weight reduction and a superior ride and handling due to our newly designed rear arm slide mechanism. The slide mechanism has 2 adjustment points by adding or removing aluminum shims that come with the kit.

1^st you can adjust the sleds rear ride height (works well for different snow conditions, like powder or spring time snow).

2^nd you can adjust how much weight the sled will transfer, meaning how much ski lift your sled will have (works well for higher HP sleds & fine tuning your sled to your liking).  

Also the front limiter strap has 12 hole adjustments and the Fox Float Shox have a 100 psi range of adjustment.

Every rider has a different way they like there sled to be set up and the Mtn. Tamer Back Suspension System will give you the Adjustability you need to fit your riding style.

Suspension arm are constructed of 4130 chrome-molly and have a durable powder coat finish, inner cross shaves are made of 7075 aluminum, all shaves are mounted in nylon bushings and have grease zerks.

Timbersled also offers custom made Slide Rails that are pre-drilled for our suspensions and are designed to fit each sled brand. They come set up for 8” wheels and are not tipped up in the back. Rail Kits Include: 2 slide rails, Hyfax, Front rail caps, Bottom out pads & Track adjusters (for appearance see S/D-XP Mtn. Tamer kit).
